In 1997, I emailed one of my stories to a friend. Several weeks later, a colleague in Hong Kong messaged me, urging me to read something sent to him from Australia. Yes...it was my story. It had circulated all over the world—the 90s equivalent of going viral. Let's say that sowed the writing seed.

Incidentally, that same year in Capetown, I went shopping with Michael Jackson during his History World Tour. But that's for another time... 

I began writing my first novel after 25+ years as a Technical Sales Director; writing succinct business emails, building creative presentations, proofreading tenders, and copyediting documents are the core skills I use daily in my writing. 

As for genre, I gravitate to the darker side of human behaviour, unafraid to explore taboo subjects and delve into the murkier depths of the human psyche. 

I was born in the haunted streets of Edinburgh, Scotland.
